I was so deeply saddened to learn that Jane Marczewski, who the world came to know as “Nightbirde”, passed away a few days ago. She captured the hearts of the world last year on America’s Got Talent when she performed “It’s OK, her original song. Following her performance, she revealed that she was battling cancer, and wasn’t given long to live.
“You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy,” she told the judges.
Few words resonate like hers.
Jane’s incredible spirit, story, and message touched millions. And she did it with incredible strength and a beautiful smile, all while battling cancer.
While Jane has moved on, her spirit is very much alive. Rest peacefully, Nightbirde. You are a legend.
